A milestone worth celebrating

New look. New chapter. Same mission.

We are proud to announce that Fun Friday Club is now officially registered as an Incorporated Association.

What started as a simple idea to bring people together through movement, connection and mental health awareness continues to grow into something bigger.

Our new logo reflects this milestone and the journey ahead. While our identity continues to evolve, our purpose remains unchanged: to build a community where everyone feels welcomed, supported and connected.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. We are just getting started.

Fun Friday Club Inc. · Move • Connect • Feel Good.

Come celebrate with us — and help shape what comes next. Bring yourself, your friends, your energy and your story. Everyone is welcome, and there is a place for you at Fun Friday Club.

Weekly community meetup

Fun Friday Club

Move. Connect. Feel good.

A simple weekly ritual where we move our bodies, make real connections, and leave better than we arrived.

Our mission

To create a simple, welcoming weekly ritual where people move their bodies, make real connections, and leave feeling better than they arrived, especially international students building a new life in Australia.

Our vision

A global, community led network of weekly meetups providing walks, runs, workshops, and practical support such as food, water, and clothing for people who need it, funded by partners and well wishers. Fun Friday Club Inc. is a Victorian incorporated association, so the club can hold its own bank account, take sponsorships and insure itself properly.

Our story

Fun Friday started in January 2025 after cofounders Erick Mugaa Mpuria, Stacy Lewamba, Rose Makena Mpuria, and Kelly Ntwali began their own fitness journeys and felt the benefits, including more energy, better mood, and clearer minds.

Erick works in the service industry and noticed a gap: international students often lacked healthy connection points and low pressure spaces to talk. Week 1 launched at 1000 Steps, Kokoda, Melbourne. The vibe was unreal and it kicked off Season 1 with 20 straight weeks of meet, move, and connect.

Saravallary Sindani and Kevin Kattam joined the leadership later. Stevan Stankovic from 369 Mind Therapy added mental wellbeing support. We welcome people of all backgrounds and believe we are one community.
